Luka Garza recorded 21 points and 16 rebounds for his 12th double-double of the season to help No. 5 Iowa post a 77-73 victory over No. 25 Wisconsin in Big Ten play on Sunday at Iowa City.

Jordan Bohannon scored all 16 of his points in the second half, including three free throws to put the Hawkeyes (20-7, 14-6 Big Ten) ahead to stay. He also had eight assists and six rebounds.

Micah Potter matched his season high of 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting for Wisconsin (16-11, 10-10). Brad Davison added 14 points and Jonathan Davis tallied 11 points and four steals as the Badgers lost for the fifth time in the past six games.

Iowa's Joe Wieskamp scored 12 points on 5-of-5 shooting, including two 3-pointers, prior to leaving with a right ankle injury with 8:16 left in the first half. Wieskamp sustained the injury when his right foot stepped on the left foot of Wisconsin's Tyler Wahl. Wieskamp was sporting a boot on the foot while watching the second half.

Keegan Murray contributed 13 points, six rebounds and three blocked shots as the Hawkeyes won for the seventh time in the past eight games.

Bohannon was fouled while shooting a 3-pointer and made all three shots to give Iowa a 74-71 lead with 34.3 seconds left. The Hawkeyes later increased the lead to four when by CJ Fredrick split two free throws with 9.2 seconds and closed out the win.

Garza also had three blocks for Iowa, which shot 50.9 percent from the field and made 7 of 23 from 3-point range.

The Badgers connected on 46.7 percent of their shots, including 9 of 24 from behind the arc.

The Hawkeyes led 42-30 after Murray's basket with 17:50 left before Wisconsin erupted with a 16-4 burst. Potter capped it to knot the score at 46 with a 3-pointer with 12:49 remaining.

Just 49 seconds later, Davison drained a 3-pointer to give the Badgers a 49-48 lead. Iowa tallied the next five to move back ahead by four but Wisconsin scored seven of the next nine points and took a 56-55 lead on a 3-pointer by D'Mitrik Trice with 8:46 to play.

A 3-pointer by Davis gave the Badgers a 69-65 with 2:26 left before the Hawkeyes closed with a 12-4 spurt.

Garza had 11 points and nine rebounds as Iowa led 35-26 at the break.

Wieskamp's hot shooting helped the Hawkeyes open up a 20-9 advantage over the first 9 1/2 minutes.
